Exciting News!

While the original Open Music Registry, a personal project of Stuart Whitmore which helped distribute over 70,000 copies of open-licensed music from musicians all around the world to a global audience of music fans, was shut down in 2004, there is work in progress to bring a new project online under the Open Music Registry name. The new service will be run by a group of people (not including Stuart) who are also interested in helping connect musicians with new fans via open-licensed music. Don't get rid of your Open Music Registry bookmarks and links yet!

In the meantime, you might want to check out Stuart's latest open-licensed media project, the Video Liberty Project. You can also read some short science fiction stories (distributed under an open license) by Stuart.
